If you purchased a new device with your Medicopeia software, please charge and setup your device before you attempt to install the Medicopeia software, then follow these instructions:
To complete your installation you will need:
- Activation Key (found in your shipment confirmation email, on the Medicopeia box sleeve, and on the Medicopeia CD jacket).
- Medicopeia software via CD-ROM (Step 1a) or download (Step 1b)
- Credit Card (subscription based packages may require a credit card for activation)

Step 1a - Installing from CD-ROM
Insert the Medicopeia CD into your CD-ROM drive.

Step 1b - Installing from electronic download
Click the link provided in your email or you can use the link below.

Step 2
Follow the onscreen installation instructions to complete the Medicopeia Installation. At this point, you may be prompted to restart your machine. Please restart your machine if prompted to do so.

Step 3
Connect the Sync cable to your device and press the HotSync button to perform a HotSync.

Step 4
Ensure that your computer is connected to the internet and press the HotSync button a second time.

Step 5
After the second HotSync is complete, a prompt will appear on your computer asking you to enter your Activation Key. Enter your Activation Key and click OK. If you are unable to enter the key within the 60 seconds provided, press the HotSync button to try again.

Step 6
A NETUPDATE REQUEST ERROR prompt will appear stating that there is no user profile associated with this device. Please click the CREATE USER PROFILE button. IMPORTANT: Complete the user profile form and click Submit to activate your subscription.

Step 7
Perform another HotSync.
**Upgrade Available Message**
You may get a message that reads "An updated version of the Medicopeia NetUpdate conduit is available. Your Medicopeia device will not be able to receive updates until you have completed the installation of this upgrade." Click DOWNLOAD UPGRADE. The Medicopeia Installation Wizard will reappear and you will need to follow the onscreen installation instructions to complete the Medicopeia Installation. You may be prompted to restart your computer. Please restart your computer if prompted to do so. Perform a HotSync. When the HotSync is complete, your device will automatically proceed to the next step.

Step 8
If your Medicopeia software is current and up to date, Medicopeia will begin installation of the various software programs included with your purchase. In the Medicopeia window you will see a list of software and progress bars showing the state of the installation. No action is required. When installation of the software is complete, you will receive a message that your update was successful.

Step 9
You will be prompted to reset your device by tapping the reset icon on your device screen.
To access your new software, go to the home screen on your device. In the upper right hand corner of the screen tap on the word "All". A drop down menu will appear, choose Medicopeia.
